Massage Professionals. Shauna also practices, by appointment only,

What is Tui Na Acupressure and how does it benefit my health?
Tui Na is a
hand-pressure technique that differs from the more common massage
therapy in that it is done through comfortable clothing, with
considerable assisted stretching. As a practitioner of this ancient
Chinese acupressure modality, Shauna facilitates your body’s own
natural mechanisms that support your vitality, flexibility,
structural alignment, relaxation, and well-being.
Shauna uses a
rather interactive approach that incorporates techniques to enhance
your mind-body awareness. This is important because, among other
reasons, the amount of pressure and length of stretch ultimately is
up to you.
In a 90-minute
appointment, Shauna works approximately 250 points by hand, in
sequence along the body’s “chi” energy channels known as
meridians—as used in acupuncture. (Shorter appointments may also be
arranged, but the complete sequence is recommended for maximum
benefit.)
