Tom Clark combines
deep therapeutic bodywork with a very intuitive form of energy work.
He holds a certification in Advanced Myofascial Techniques through
Til Luchow and Advanced-Trainings in affiliation with the Rolf
Institute. He also received certification in LaStone ® Therapy
taught by Patty Templin, and uses both hot and cold stones where
appropriate in his work. Tom graduated from Brenneke School of
Massage in Seattle Washington, passed his National Certification
exam, and became licensed to practice massage in 2000. He has been
studying the human body and working full time as a massage therapist
since that time. Prior to becoming a professional massage therapist
he trained in energy manipulation with L.V. Carnie who is a
practitioner of Chi Gung and Two-Spirit shamanism. Tom has trained
for and run several marathons, and is an avid runner, hiker,
cyclist, and XC skier. He has been associated with Rocky Mountain
Integrative Medicine since July 2003. His work is specific and
thorough; by employing a variety of slow deep treatment techniques
soft tissue restrictions are lengthened and released. This therapy
can create change on a deep and profound level. It can free holding
patterns of long standing duration, improve posture and gait,
alleviate pain, and allow a free flow of energy throughout the body.
